Muscle-Balance Therapy?
I received a free copy of Jesse Cannone's book, "The 7-Day Back Pain Cure," which has some info in it that makes sense. He also has some good articles on his website. However, the only way we can supposedly learn this technique is by spending hundreds of dollars on various products. Unlike your book, his book doesn't actually teach us how to address our muscle imbalances. All of his "information" includes a sales pitch.

What's your take on "Muscle-Balance Therapy"? I understand that "muscle imbalance" is addressed when we make the postural changes that you're teaching us to do. Would it be useful to augment what you teach with some Muscle-Balance Therapy techniques, or is MBT just a term that was coined for marketing purposes? ???

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

I don't know a lot about the techniques that he teaches. However, just from looking up reviews about his work, it look like many other people have been disappointed that the book seems to focus a lot of product sales. Our opinion is that you shouldn't have to spend a fortune and buy a lot of products to learn to have good body alignment and the proper flexibility and strength in muscles that support good alignment in everyday activities and movements.

FYI, Mr. Cannone has put a lot of effort into marketing and selling his own products and also has done a lot of negative advertising for techniques and devices for addressing back pain that are not his own.
